Warranties & Returns Policy

Returns are accepted on goods under the following circumstances only:

However, if an ordered item/product is unavailable at the time of purchase we do reserve the right to supply a substitute item/product, at no extra cost to the purchaser, that fulfils the same function/purpose, to the same, or greater standard than that ordered, and is of similar or greater value.

All goods are thoroughly inspected before packaging and dispatch for faults,or damage, and all due care and attention is taken by Perth Aquaponics in regards to packaging and handling.

Perth Aquaponics offers a D.O.A. warranty on goods purchased that arrive in undamaged condition, in undamaged packaging, and are found to be faulty (this does not include physical damage) upon inspection and/or application by the customer. Goods should be inspected and tested for correct operation, by the customer, upon receival. Any D.O.A. claims for faulty goods must be lodged, by the customer, via email, with Perth Aquaponics, within 24 hrs of receival of the goods.

Received goods that arrive with obvious physical damage, or damage to the original packaging, and/or are found to be faulty, are not the responsibility of Perth Aquaponics. A claim for damages should be lodged with Australia Post, or responsibe carrier.

Warranties are provided by the manufacturers, not Perth Aquaponics, and as such there may be varying conditions imposed by the individual manufacturers regarding returns, ie: Where to return the item and the costs associated with postage/freight for returns. For goods that develop a fault after purchase most manufacturers and distributors require the purchaser to pay the return postage/freight. Therefore returns must be discussed with Perth Aquaponics and a return code must be obtained from Perth Aquaponics prior to the customer returning the item. Items returned without a return code will not be accepted.

Faulty items returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period and found to have a fault deemed by the manufacturer to be covered under warranty, will be replaced or repaired at the manufacturer’s discretion.
